My name is Bo Huang. I am a first-year Ph.D. student in computer science at the University of California, Riverside (UC Riverside), co-advised by Prof. Ahmed Eldawy, Prof. Yan Gu and Prof. Yihan Sun.

Prior to that, I was a research assistant at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), advised by Prof. Raymond Chi-Wing Wong and a research assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), advised by Prof. Victor Junqiu Wei.

I earned both my M.E. and B.E. degrees from the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), advised by Prof. Bo Tang.

Research Interest

I am interested in both simple and efficient algorithms, as well as "weird" algorithms that may seem counter-intuitive at first glance. In particular, I am willing to apply geometric properties to create practical and efficient algorithms with theoretical guarantees for solving large-scale real-world problems.
